Western Canda Leadership
-
Andrew Wright - President
Andrew is a big fan of all things motorized and his camera is never far away, he started his journey with the Audi Club while still owning a hot blue JDM coupe. However, the more involved he got and the more friends made, an SQ5 quickly replaced the noisy little coupe and now after more than 5 years with the club he can be seen rolling up to events and planning out his next road trip with his RS7.
-
Nathan Darrell - Vice President
Nathan is a big fan of snowboarding, mountain biking with his dog, watching Formula 1, and enjoying the occasional craft beer with his Wife. His love for cars came from his dad, who taught him that despite how complex cars are, if you’re brave enough to ask for help from friends and family, almost anything is possible.
Through his automotive crusade, he's blown-up an engine, cooked turbos, snapped axles, and taken some legendary road trips which have shown him how beautiful and diverse this continent actually is. Now he is keen to help expand Audi Club and bring more people together across Western Canada!
-
Samantha DeOliveira - Secretary & Vancouver Area Representative
Samantha is a relatively new member to the Audi club and a very proud Audi enthusiast. She's made quick work of willing herself into the Western Canada committee from that memorable moment at OA24 when she saw the clubs beautiful member cards and promptly informed us that they were not organized and just wrong (Which of course she was quick to take a seat on the curb and remedy with pure joy on her face!).
-
Marissa Vogrinetz - Treasurer
When Marissa is not hanging out in the garage with her fiancé, A.J., or throwing a ball around for their dog, Leonard, you will find her (trying and failing) at gardening, learning a new language or reading a book. During the summer months, they proudly participate in Horsepower for Hope to raise money for Kids with Cancer charity. Their current Audi collection includes 2019 Audi RS3 (Betty) and 2024 Q3 (Quinton). Which she admits that it was her that affectionately named their cars, and yes, it makes A.J. cringe! Marissa is very excited to be a part of the Audi Club WC and looks forward to the fun ahead!
-
Dave Fester - Website & IT Support
Dave has been involved in the local Edmonton car scene since the mid 2000s, starting with the local Volkswagen club, Air Riders VW Club. Going from a member to volunteering at events/car shows to being on the executive, he's always there willing to help out and step up.
Dave's Audi exposure is fairly recent, having owned a B6 S4 manual Avant from '17-'19 and the most recent project, a 2010 B8 Avant that is fully S4 swapped.
-
Jaime Hardy - Edmonton Representative
Jaime is a longtime member of the Audi Club, formerly the Treasurer and now proudly serving as an Edmonton Representative. She shares life with her ever-patient (and possibly saintly) spouse, Geoff, who graciously tolerates a revolving door of naked rescue cats and a calendar full of social events—though don’t let him fool you, he secretly loves both. Equal parts car nerd and cat whisperer, Jaime is always up for a good chat—especially if there’s caffeine involved and a story about your ride or your rescue. Keep an eye out at various events for Jaime in her Navarra RS6 or in Geoff’s Sonoma RS5. If you’re really lucky, you might just catch both cars out at the same time (and maybe even a naked cat).
